Product Overview

Flap discs are the core product of our factory, and the 100mm T29 blue zirconia flap disc is the range we are most proud of. It is built with zirconia alumina – a self-sharpening abrasive that stays cool and keeps cutting at high pressure – so welders and metalworkers get real material removal on the first pass, not just surface polishing.

The T29 conical shape lifts the flaps at a steeper working angle, which digs into the workpiece for aggressive grinding while the flat outer zone still finishes cleanly – one disc does the work of a grinding wheel and a flap disc. Each flap is bonded to a strong fibreglass backing, giving the disc a rigid, stable face that resists tearing on corners and edges.

We produce the complete 100mm series in-house on fully automatic lines, with every batch checked for flap alignment, balance and adhesion. Full range 100-180mm always in stock, ready for fast delivery.

FAQ

Q1: Why choose zirconia instead of normal aluminium oxide?

A: Zirconia is self-sharpening – as the grain wears, it fractures to expose new cutting edges. It grinds faster, runs cooler and lasts significantly longer on high-pressure work.

Q2: What is the difference between T27 and T29?

A: T29 is conical, so it offers a more aggressive cutting angle. T27 is flat, better for surface blending. Many workshops keep both.

Q3: What is the maximum speed?

A: 15,300 RPM (80 m/s). Always match the disc to the rated speed of your grinder.

Q4: Can I get a different bore size or grit?

A: Yes – we offer adaptor rings for common arbor sizes, and grits from P36 to P120 can be produced on request.

Q5: Do you support OEM branding?

A: Yes, our factory provides full OEM service – custom colour, logo, label and carton.
